About Rebecca

I'm a native Texan and University of North Texas alumna. 

I originally pursued a career in journalism. An affinity for storytelling and precise grammar made social media content creation a natural choice after graduation. 

After managing several successful corporate social media accounts, I realized that I needed to dive deeper into developing my creative skills. Aside from high school yearbook and literary magazine classes, I'm totally self-taught. I'm now proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and yes, Canva. 

While I'm a naturally creative person, the technical skills took a moment to learn. After a short time of being bad (I can admit it!), I started finding new ways to translate ideas into visuals and really understanding the principles of design. I started to love it! I found a knack in working for vibrant, personable brands that welcomed out-of-the-box thinking. 

I have an innate drive to create more and constantly improve my work. I'm such a nerd when it comes to design. When you get down to it, this is what I'm passionate about; what fills my soul. Some people think in words or pictures; I think in colors, patterns, and typefaces.  

These days, I live with my wife and our herd of animals. We love road tripping, going to concerts, and creepy podcasts.
